In February of 2022, members of the K12 Climate Action Commission joined the Harvard Askwith Forum to discuss how the education sector can be a force toward climate solutions and environmental justice. The Askwith Education Forum brought leading voices from across the field of education and beyond together for rich and spirited conversations about issues affecting schools, universities, families, and communities. The conversation focused on how schools and educators can help prepare young people to envision and work toward a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable society.

“We have a responsibility as educators to educate our students and our communities at large and to make it very clear that this is a shared responsibility. We must do what we can to make sure that this Earth is a place where my grandchildren can live, breathe, and thrive,” said Becky Pringle, President of the National Education Association.
